Huangshan

Huangshan mountain range lies to the south of Anhui province of eastern China. This area is very much popular for its sunset, secenery, peculiarly-shaped peaks of granite, view of clouds and Huangshan Pine trees. Mount Huang is the frequent subject of traditional Chinese literature and painting. It is one of the major tourist attraction as well as UNESCO World Heritage site.

Yellow Mountain or Mt. Huangshan is the most famous mountain among all mountains in China. It was originally known as the Mt. Yishan and renamed as Mt. Huangshan in the year 747 AD on the name of legendary Huang Di who was a reputed ancestor of the Chinese people. It is one of the greatest symbols of china and has magnificent and abundant resources. Due to the presence of great variety of zoological species it is listed in Cultural Heritage and world natural Site.

Emei Mountain

Mt. Emei is situated in the Sichuan Province of Southwest China and a well not summer destination in China. It has pleasant weather, inspiring natural scenery, congenial atmosphere as well as influence of culture of Buddhist. This mountain is also characterized by the lofty ancient trees, pristine brooks, impressive waterfalls and several Buddhist temples.

This mountain is also noted for its considerable weather differences between numerous spots on the mountain. Its foot and peak has the difference of about 14 degree centigrade. It has cool pleasant in the higher and blistering at the foot. The average temperature in the month of July and August which is the hottest period of China is about 12 degree centigrade.

Taishan Mountain

Located in the north of Tai’an city towards the East China in the Shangdong Province, Mount Tai, is a mountain of cultural and historical significance. The meaning of the word ’tai’ is stability and peace in Chinese. It means that if this mountain is stable then the entire country will also be stable. Mount Tai has been crowned as the Jade Emperor Peak and it is belived that the jade Emperor is most powerful god of Heaven according to the Chinese mythology.

It is situated at an altitude of about 1,500 meters and leader of five sacred mountains. It is said that 72 emperors of various dynasties have made pilgrimage to this mountain. Many literary scholars and poets also have visited this hill. This hill has also played an important role for the development of Taoism and Buddhism.
